Lookin’ For Love In All The Wrong Offices

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For singles hunting for a new Valentine, look no farther than the next cubicle over.

According to a survey by CareerBuilder.com, 56 percent of folks say they have dated a co-worker during their careers.

In fact, 31 percent admit to fishing off the company pier more than twice.

Office romances begin both in and out of the office: 22 percent say they began dating after collaborating on projects, but 13 percent say the starting point for their romantic relationship was a happy hour at a bar.

Still, sleeping with the boss isn’t a good way to climb the corporate ladder, according to the 92 percent who say their office romances haven’t helped them progress in their careers.

Finally, 46 percent say they kept their relationships with a co-worker secret while 10 percent weren’t as lucky: They admit they have been caught locking lips with an office love buddy at work.
