Woman Alters Entire Face With 15 Surgeries

UXBRIDGE, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One woman desperately tried to save face by surgically rearranging her entire mug.

Laura Pillarella, writing as Jamieson Dale, has penned Chasing Beauty: My Cosmetic Surgery Takeover (Pillarella), her personal story about having 15 plastic surgeries on her face.

By age 36, Pillarella had completely transformed her face to the point of being unrecognizable through procedures like a nose job, chin augmentation, and collagen shots.

Her “compulsion” with plastic surgery was psychological. She wanted to feel loved and thought a pretty face was the way to get there so she set off to “build” herself.

Pillarella says her most drastic surgery was the face lift that literally took her skin “off the skeleton.” Since then, she’s never looked the same.

These days just the thought of a scalpel makes her cringe.

She hopes women stop taking the “casual approach” to cosmetic surgery and quit using it to try to heal their deeper emotional scars.
