`Hairstorian' Praises Barry Manilow's 'Do

So says Jesse Briggs, the “hairstorian” behind Yellow Strawberry Salons, who’s trimmed everyone’s tresses from Frank Sinatra to Liza Minnelli.

Briggs says that by far, Manilow has the softest, nicest mane of anyone he’s ran his fingers through.

His stylists cut Manilow’s hair every couple weeks because the singer never wants his perfect coif to look any different.

Over the years, Briggs has become a “hairstorian” of celebrity locks, keeping several stars’ strands.

He’s owned Elvis’ locks from his famous Army haircut, trimmings from Marilyn Monroe and JFK, and 100 strands of John Lennon’s hair, which he gave to a woman in Switzerland.

Briggs dreams of owning a clump of Taylor Swift’s hair but his “final wish” is for a piece of Celine Dion’s, who, sadly, is far “too famous” to sample from.
