Olympics Planned Around Moon?
Lunar Cycle Factor In 2010 Winter Olympics?
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 17:15 GMTPEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) The 2010 Winter Olympics may be timed to coincide with a certain kind of mooning.
The Vancouver games began Friday (Feb. 12) and run through February 28, the onset of the waxing moon period.
Lunar behavior expert Jeff Warren believes this was purposely planned by Olympic organizers because this phase of the moon brings forth high energy.
Its a time when people begin major undertakings like going for the gold and are at their prime.
Warren says 80 percent of historical wars were fought during the energetic waxing phase for this very reason.
Its also a great time to travel.
If the Olympics were held off until the full moon (Feb. 28), it wouldnt be much of an event.
Warren says foul ups, injuries, and bad times tend to stem from a full moon period and everything including speed, hair growth, and sex drive slows down significantly.
