SEATTLE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Nothing says ‘I love you’ and ‘I hate you’ simultaneously quite like a cardboard tube fight between lovers.Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) is going to be a massacre in Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park when the Cardboard Tube Fighting League swings in for the Lover’s Quarrel cardboard tube fight tournament.
Dressed in homemade cardboard armor, duelers will attempt to break their opponents’ tubes, and maybe their hearts, in rounds of epic battle that’ll leave one person victorious.
Fighters should expect some welts, bruises, and extra fury from anti-Valentine’s Day participants out for blood against Cupid.
Spokesperson Ravin Pierre says the event can also help couples hash out their issues and bring an end to long-standing fights, like leaving the toilet seat up or drinking out of the milk carton.
If all else fails, lovers can just beat the crap out of each other as a form of breaking up.
