FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The tables have turned: Humans are now begging for a taste of their dog’s food.Chef K9’s Doggy Bistro & Bakery in Florida specializes in cooking gourmet meal plans for dogs specific to their breeds and nutrition needs.
Pups – from Boxers to Yorkshire Terriers – are catered to with fresh, fancy meals that include all-natural, fine dining ingredients like beef, lamb, oven-roasted potatoes, and sauteed vegetables.
Owner Craig Zeleznik says their dog food is so good, even curious humans chow down on it sometimes.
It tastes just like regular human food, but without the salt and sauces that make it unsafe for pooches.
Over the course of about eight months, Zeleznik says dogs can lose weight on the meal plan and boost their health.
Though most dogs happily dive into the gourmet dishes, some pups are harder to please.
Zeleznik says Malteses and Chihuahuas are notoriously finicky eaters, mostly because they’re spoiled rotten.
