Urgent: Bacon Mascot Needed

SEATTLE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s a sizzling job opportunity on the table: Dressing up as a giant strip of bacon.

J&D’s – a company that sells everything from bacon chapstick to bacon envelopes – is frantically looking for a new mascot.

Their old “Bacon” has the swine flu, so they need someone urgently to dress up in a seven-foot bacon costume and represent at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco this Sunday (Jan. 17).

The mascot – who, of course, must love bacon – will be paid $100 a day and get all the bacon products they desire.

J&D co-founder, Justin Esch, says the applicant must simply “be awesome” and able to handle instant fame.

Once the bacon suit is on, they’ll be bombarded by groupies because, “Being Bacon is like being a cross between Superman, Mickey Mouse, Brad Pitt, and the Beatles.

Fans typically charge the mascot for pictures and some have even tried to bite or hump Bacon, purely out of admiration.
