Fake Company Gets Free Parking

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Finding a parking spot can be such a pain, unless you work for a pretend company.

When Todd Lappin couldn’t find a place to park his van, he converted his ride into an official-looking vehicle for the company “Telstar Logistics,” which he completely made up.

By adding a company logo and a few stickers, Lappin found he could park anywhere and never get a ticket, even getting access into closed off areas.

Lappin has created pens, shirts, and stationary bearing his fake company’s name, but assures he’s not out to trick anyone.

He says, “I tell people it’s fake if they ask. I’ve gotten very far that way because they feel they’re in on the joke. They let me do what I want.”

The fictional company looks so legit that Lappin has received offers for franchising and even allows his pals to use it on their resume.
