Papyrus Font Ruins ‘Avatar’

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The nearly $300 million flick, Avatar, may be totally ruined thanks to an ugly font.

The blockbuster flick could’ve been much better had it not been for the ugly title and subtitle font used throughout, according to Ian Conrad who runs papyruswatch.com.

The website catalogs all the foul uses of the “ugly” papyrus font that Conrad and his friends come across around Canada, and he says that although Avatar is being touted for its awesome visual effects, the font is just an eyesore.

Conrad says, “I don’t know why anyone uses it. I see it and it’s like, ‘Ugh.’ Those who use it only do so out of ignorance.”

He hopes people finally realize that there are other more unique, catchy fonts that can be used to sell something.

Though some believe it’s a stupid crusade to lead, Conrad says many have joined in his cause which proves how hated papyrus actually is.
