That’s the pukey predicament actor Alex Meraz, who plays werewolf Paul, found himself in when he recently visited Miami.
Meraz says fans were so worked up about meeting him that a few Twihards actually barfed when they saw him face-to-face.
He explains, “Three fans were screaming so loudly, they threw up! I don’t think anything can top that – that’s boy band status.”
Instead of running away in disgust, Meraz made sure his devoted followers were okay before he continued on his way.
He waited until an EMT arrived and the queasy fans ended up being fine and “super happy,” despite the upchucking.
Meraz isn’t sure if a fan encounter will ever top that, but he plans to “ride the Twilight wave” – puke and all – into 2010.
