Rock – who voices a zany zebra on the TV holiday flick, Merry Madagascar, airing November 17 on NBC – says his young daughters often bug him to act like a bug around the house.
Though they love his Madagascar zebra voice, the girls get an even bigger kick out of Rock’s mosquito voice from the time he played a buzzer, Mooseblood, in Bee Movie.
They constantly make him talk like Mooseblood and Rock obliges. He sometimes asks his girls to do their chores in the mosquito’s voice.
Rock says his kids are “braggers” and enjoy telling their friends that their dad is a famous zebra and mosquito.
He’s thankful to be “getting in good with the kids” through his animated flicks and adds, “I gotta get me some of that Hannah Montana money!”
