That’s what EDW Lynch did, turning himself into the world’s first “manglomerate.”
Lynch, a former corporate temp, felt it’d be “wonderful if all aspects of my life were compartmentalized,” so he turned himself into a corporation.
For example, any woman he’s interested in dating receives a “Letter of Romantic Intent” explaining that he’s pursuing them for a possible relationship.
The letter helps him “overcome any awkwardness,” allowing him to have a “corporate solution to a personal problem.”
The “Partner Management” division of his manglomerate deals with friends and family, who are ranked in “preferred rhombus tiers” which manage his level of closeness with each person.
He explains, “If I can increase the experience of knowing me through bureaucracy, I will.”
All members of EDW Lynch are required to dress professionally, with polo shirts being strictly forbidden.
