Bank Robbers Are Surprisingly Polite

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It may seem odd, but bank robbers are actually pretty polite.

BankNotes365.com is based on a book which compiles the notes used by bank robbers to demand money from tellers during hold- ups.

Along with the note is a photo or screen shot from a surveillance camera of the thief so viewers can put a face to the written demand.

Though many of the thugs look like criminals, their notes prove that their mamas raised them to properly use their manners – even while robbing someone.

Ken Habarta, who compiles the entries for the site, says many of the notes are very politely written, with robbers asking tellers to give them all their money in a very nice way.

One 20-year-old thief from Pennsylvania wrote, “I have a gun in my bag. Give me $5,000. Thanks a bunch,” while another demanded that the teller “hand over your money, please.”
