Rashida Jones Braves Wobbly Slide

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – In grade school, actress Rashida Jones spiraled down a slippery slope.

The Parks & Recreation star loved playing at the park as a kid but was slightly traumatized after braving an old playground slide.

She was seven years old and her best friend dared her to go down the “rickety” equipment. Jones hesitated but her pal pushed her down anyway.

By the time she reached the bottom, Jones’ foot was all cut up and “gushing open.”

Needless to say, she didn’t speak with her BFF “for a while” after that.

In retrospect, Jones says the wooden slide was so rusty and shaky, it should’ve been zoned off by a park safety committee.

Her co-star Chris Pratt says his childhood park memories aren’t as cool as Jones’, but he did catch a duck once at a public lake.

He explains, “It scratched me; I let it go.”

Parks & Recreation airs Thursdays on NBC.
