Minnesota school teacher Sean Dwyer is on a “BarbeQuest” to sample the delicious barbecue at all 178 Famous Dave’s restaurants across America, since the eatery is his home away from home.
Dwyer “fell in love” with Famous Dave’s years back and never gets sick of chowing down on their homestyle cooking.
So far, he’s visited 26 of the chains as part of the BarbeQuest. However, for his own personal pleasure he’s sampled dishes at 51 locales, even eating Famous Dave’s barbecue for seven days straight on two occasions.
Despite his deep love for the restaurant, Dwyer says he’d never work there because everyone knows him too well.
He adds, “It would be like going out with your sister.”
Dwyer isn’t worried about gaining a muffin top through his eating adventure. In fact, he’s lost four pounds despite only eating and driving.
