A contest is being held in London in which bartenders, mixologists, and anyone else who can shake a tasty drink create a specialty cocktail using Courvosier VSOP Exclusif Cognac.
The winning drink will fill the Architectural Punch Bowl, an art piece “so large you can row a boat across it,” according to spokesperson Sam Bompas.
Since this will be one of “the biggest cocktails to ever exist,” Bompas asks that contestants think carefully about the taste, scale, mixture, garnish, and “theater” of how it’s made and served since it’ll be visited by hundreds throughout its stay in London’s busy streets.
In fact, those who do come to taste the cocktail are invited to get on a rowboat and scoop their own glass themselves.
The deadline for the Architectural Punch Bowl mixer is October 5th.
