Golfers looking for a good, reliable caddy can recruit from the animal kingdom through Llama Caddy, a company that provides trained llamas to golf courses to serve as caddies for players.
Company president Mark English says his 20 years in turf club management and his love of animals brought about the idea, and thinks bringing a llama to the fairway is a perfect fit.
He explains, Their personalities are just incredible. They give off a nice, calm feeling, and they have caddying down to a science. You hardly have to lead them.
English hopes his llamas make it to the PGA Masters tour assisting golf greats someday and assures that the furry sidekicks wont dump on the festivities.
The llamas are potty trained to only drop a deuce in areas where their beans, or poop, are laid out for them, much like a kitty litter box.
