Nelson Brothers May Save U.S. Postal Service

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Gunnar and Matthew Nelson are known for their 1990 hit “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love And Affection,” but they may soon be known for saving the U.S. Postal Service.

The U.S. Postal Service recently issued a stamp dedicated to the Nelson’s grandparents, TV legends Ozzie and Harriet, and Gunnar has purchased so many of them, he’ll be using them “for the rest of my life.”

He figures the stamps will add a nice flair to Christmas cards, income tax returns, or anything sent by mail – but he’s not stopping there.

Now that his grandparents have the official stamp of approval, he and Matthew want to get a similar honor made for their dad, late rocker Ricky Nelson.

Besides saving the Postal Service from bankruptcy, the Nelson Bros are working on a reality show and will release a new album this October called Lightning Strikes Twice.

And, yes, they’ll announce the release via postcards featuring the Ozzie and Harriet stamp.
