Collector John Reznikoff recently acquired a charred lock of Jacksons hair from the famous 1984 Pepsi commercial when Jackos head caught on fire.
Reznikoff plans to give a portion of the hair to LifeGem, a company that makes diamonds out of hair and cremated remains, so that a limited line of MJ diamonds can be made.
LifeGem co-founder Dean VandenBiesen says the DNA diamond process will take about nine months, and theyll be able to make roughly 10 rocks out of Jacksons locks.
Given the rareness of the diamonds, VandenBiesen anticipates theyll be pricey, fit for museums or extremely devoted fans.
Both men agree the bling could become the Hope Diamond of pop culture and believe Jacko who loved sparkly things would approve.
Reznikoff says theres no classier way to remember the King Of Pop, and VandenBiesen thinks itd be great for Jacksons kids to own diamonds of their daddy.
