Brave Burlesque Beauties Slither To Strip

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Pastie-wearing pin-ups are invading Las Vegas this weekend (Jun. 6-7) and the ladies are fearless.

Babes will be in Sin City to pay tribute to burlesque legends from the ’40s and ’50s and compete in the 19th Annual Miss Exotic World Pageant.

The contest was originally held on burlesque legend Dixie Evans’ chicken ranch until it found a home on the Vegas strip.

Photographer Chris Beyond has been snapping the tassel- twirling talents at the pageant since 2002 and says burlesque dancers are brave.

One year, he witnessed a performer known as Thrill Kill Jill – who’s also a snake handler – get her head bitten by a snake right in the middle of her routine. She continued her act until she realized that the audience was worried for her safety.

Besides watching the show, burlesque beauties will also get to go on a photo safari around different Vegas hotspots, like the famous Welcome To Las Vegas sign where they’ll simultaneously flash their boobs.
