Superheroes Can’t Be Super 24/7

TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Even superheroes need to walk the dog or take a poop.

That’s the idea behind Ian Pool’s graphic photo series Super, which shows famous crime fighters and villains going about their regular mundane lives outside saving the world.

According to Pool’s renderings, when he isn’t scaling buildings, a drunken Spider-Man can be seen peeing in an alleyway, The Hulk walks his puppy, Darth Vader reads a parenting magazine while pooping on the toilet, and a caped Batman sits and enjoys a cup of coffee at a donut shop.

As a kid, Pool always wondered what heroes were doing on their off time.

He says, “They seem to have a hectic life. When do they stop and go to the bathroom? When do they take time out of their day for themselves?”

Pool is happy to portray the superheroes on their downtime, mainly because, “Everyone needs a break.”
