However, Elvis Presley fans do their darndest to get a cut like The Kings by heading down to the Fort Chaffee Barbershop Museum in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, where Elvis got his locks cut off when he enlisted in the Army.
Spokesperson Ivy Owen says hundreds of people gravitate to the museum, which is located exactly where Elvis got his hair cut as an Army man, because it was a major moment in the icons life.
He says, People cant get enough of this place. They want to sit in the chair he sat on and touch the tools used. Many try to get an Elvis G.I. haircut while theyre there but we dont do that every day. Only once a year on the anniversary.
That, however, doesnt stop eager fans from trying to bribe museum workers into giving them an Elvis Army do.
