Website Saves Women From Dress Disasters

STUART, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One website is making sure two women never wear the same dress to the same party ever again.

Showing up to a fancy event and seeing someone else in the exact same dress is a dramatic experience many women have faced, but DressRegistry.com is attempting to eliminate that problem.

The website allows ladies to upload images and information on the dress they’re wearing to a prom, gala, or cocktail party to ensure no one else wears the same thing.

Founder Andrew Jones says, “For some women, it’s a traumatic thing to have someone else wearing their dress. It’s something they tend to remember forever. It’s not a good thing to have a dress disaster.”

No one, not even former First Lady Laura Bush who once showed to a gala in the same dress as three other guests, is safe from repeat dress drama.

Unless, according to Jones, “You’re Oprah and you’re wealthy enough to get a dress custom made.”
