St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17) Big Business For Midgets

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17) is a pot of gold for midgets who like to party.

Chris Fetterer runs tinyentertainment.com, a company that books midgets for parties, and St. Paddy’s is their busiest time because everyone wants to rent a leprechaun midget.

He gets tons of requests from Irish pubs and bars wanting to hire a leprechaun to walk around all night, and his tiny entertainers are happy to do it.

Besides raking in an easy $200 an hour, the leprechauns get to “just have fun and keep the party going.”

This includes dancing Irish jigs, drinking green beer with patrons, leprechaun wrestling, and attempting to speak in fake Irish accents – which the midgets haven’t quite mastered.

Fetterer laughs, “We’ve become known for having the worst Irish accents, and people love it. They think it’s hilarious!”

Although bar hoppers tend to get pretty sloshed on St. Patrick’s Day, Fetterer is happy to report that his little people mostly deal with “good drunks” who befriend them, not harass them.
