Portia De Rossi Needs Her Woman’s ‘Stamp Of Approval’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Portia de Rossi doesn’t make a move unless her wife, Ellen DeGeneres, greenlights it.

That’s because de Rossi, who stars on the upcoming ABC series Better Off Ted, trusts her lady love’s taste in comedy.

De Rossi says, “I’ve always been a huge fan of hers. She’s just exceptionally brilliant as a comedian and as an actress. Anything that I do, I really need her stamp of approval or else I just don’t think it’s good.”

That’s why de Rossi has such high hopes for new her show, since Ellen is a big fan of Better Off Ted.

She’s even “excited” to be a guest on Ellen’s talk show to discuss the sitcom, though she admits it would be a “very awkward kind of interview,” especially since de Rossi still harbors some secrets from the Mrs.

De Rossi jokes, “I just hope she doesn’t ask any personal questions. Ellen doesn’t know all the intimate details. That’s what I’m worried about.”

Better Off Dead premieres later this year on ABC.
