Elvis Superfan Lives The Dream

SEATTLE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One Elvis superfan has managed to capture The King more than 500 times, and it’s been a dream come true.

Marlow Harris has a collection of photographs of herself with more than 500 ETAs, or Elvis Tribute Artists, from all over the world.

Harris, who attends conventions dressed as Priscilla Presley, says, “Whenever I see an ETA at a convention, I have to go and take pictures with them. People must think, ‘Oh my God, this woman is insane!’ But this is my dream, and I’m livin’ it, baby!”

Harris says she’s taken photos with every kind of Elvis, including a chinese man who goes by “Chelvis” and a mexican fan called “Elvez.”

Her favorite impersonators, however, are those dressed as the “’70s paunchy version of Elvis” because, as she puts it, “They have to make an artistic sacrifice to keep their weight up to look properly Elvis-like. They probably have to be medicated too.”

Though she’s gotten close to many “Elvi” over the decades, Harris laments that not a single one has offered her some hunka-hunka burnin’ love.
