Santa Diploma Useful In Tough Market

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – In this competitive market, it helps to have a degree in Santa Claus studies, especially if you’re looking to land holiday work.

According to Timothy Connaghan, director of the International University of Santa Claus, Santas looking to book work at malls or Christmas parties this season should have an education.

At his school, Connaghan – a professional St. Nick himself – teaches classes on how to interact with children and master Kris Kringle’s hair and wardrobe.

He explains, “It’s about solidifying the image. Whether they’re wearing a designer beard, a cheap beard, or a real beard, they need to know how to keep the image of Santa alive.”

Connaghan insists that a degree from the Santa college isn’t too hard too achieve, evident by the few dropouts they have.

The little slip of paper pays off with the amount of work you get.

He says, “Employers will see you’ve taken time to go to school. It shows you’re really dedicated and serious about doing a good job.”
