OutKast’s Big Boi Has Big Pull On Thanksgiving (Nov. 27)

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Hip-hop heavyweight Big Boi has a lot of pull when it comes to his family’s Thanksgiving (Nov. 27) menu.

Big Boi – half of the Grammy-winning duo OutKast – says his grandmothers cook up a “smorgasbord” of delicious treats for Thanksgiving including yams, sweet potato pie, crab cakes, and collard greens.

He looks forward to the “down-home,” Southern-style feast all year long because when he’s on the road, home cooking is hard to come by.

Says Big Boi: “I’m in hotels all the time, eating room service twice a day. I miss real food!”

Luckily, Big Boi’s family empathizes over his bland diet and spoil him with his favorite foods when he’s home for the holidays.

This year, Big Boi is spending Turkey Day in Atlanta with his kids, visiting grandparents and family.

He says their Thanksgiving traditions include going bowling at night and previewing any new music he’s working on.

His new album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty, drops early next year.
