Multiple Personalities Help OutKast’s Big Boi Onscreen

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Having multiple personalities can work wonders for your acting career.

Just ask Big Boi, half of Grammy-winning hip-hop duo OutKast, who’s guest starring on Law & Order: SVU tonight (Nov. 18) on NBC.

Big Boi plays a hip-hop artist involved in an exotic animal smuggling ring, and getting into character was easy for him since he’s had tons of “alter-egos” throughout his music career.

Big Boi’s personas include ’hood king Daddy Fat Sacks, leader and fighter General Patton, ladies’ man Hot Tub Toney, and down-home country boy Francis the Savannah Chitlin Pimp.

He explains, “They’re all extensions of my personality, just like acting roles. It’s myself in different dimensions, at different times of my life.”

Big Boi’s favorite persona is his latest one, Sir Lucious Left Foot, whom he’s introducing on his new album that drops next year.

He says, “Sir Lucious is a mature, seasoned, world traveler. He’s seen it all and has it figured out. He’s me all grown up, but still fun and sexy.”
