‘Knight Rider’ Actor Giddy Around KITT And The Hoff

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s hard to keep calm, cool, and collected around an iconic car and David Hasselhoff.

Just ask Justin Breuning, star of the revamped series Knight Rider, in which he plays the son of The Hoff’s famous 80s action hero, Michael Knight.

Breuning has met the original Knight Rider star and admits he was giddy with excitement.

He explains, “Meeting David Hasselhoff was like meeting my childhood hero. Knight Rider was my favorite show as a kid.”

The other star of the show – the temperamental, talking car KITT voiced by Val Kilmer – also has a funny effect on Breuning.

He can’t help but crack up during takes when the legendary car starts talking to him.

He says, “We have a voice double that comes in and reads KITT’s part during filming and it’s great, especially on the green screen. We have so much fun on this show and can get away with a lot because it’s about a talking car!”

Knight Rider premieres tomorrow (Sep. 24) on NBC.
