Although 9/11 is typically a tragic day for Americans, many Christians will have something to celebrate as they blow out birthday candles for Jesus Christ, whos believed to have been born on September 11, 3 B.C., not December 25.
According to John Schoenheit of Spirit & Truth Fellowship International, an organization that teaches the Bible, scriptures give evidence confirming Jesus true birthday.
Schoenheit points out that September is better time for travel in Jerusalem because of its harsh climate, so Mary and Joseph were most likely traveling then before she gave birth to the Messiah.
He also looked into the birth dates provided for other biblical figures, like John the Baptist, and was able to deduce the day of Christs birth to September 11.
Though this proof shouldnt lead anyone to forego traditional Christmas Day (Dec. 25), Schoenheit says it would be nice for families to eat some cake for Jesus today.
