‘Real World’ Alumna Is A Warrior Princess

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Living in a house with strangers helped one actress prepare for her TV role as a warrior princess.

Jamie Chung starred as herself on the Real World: San Diego back in 2004, and the thick skin she grew from being on the dramatic reality show helped her become a martial arts master for the new miniseries Samurai Girl.

She explains, “The only training I had before this was two weeks of Tae Kwon Do and then I sprained my finger and quit. This is a completely different experience from anything else I’ve done before and I was ready for it.

Now she can’t stop playing with swords because they help her kick butt, and she loves the “sweet guns” she’s developed as a result of all her hard work.

Samurai Girl premieres this Friday (Sep. 5) on ABC Family.
