Actor Embraces Indian Culture, Hugs The Toilet

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One gig had actor Josh Hamilton embracing Indian culture – and hugging the toilet for hours.

Hamilton – known for his role in The House Of Yes – stars in Outsourced, a romantic comedy about an American who trains call center employees in India.

At first his character has a rough time embracing Indian culture, especially the spicy food.

Hamilton admits he too had that problem while filming in India, and the bathroom scenes may be more fact than fiction.

He says, “I was pretty ill. When my character runs to the bathroom, I was really running to the bathroom! I adjusted to the food, but no matter what you do, it’s such a diet change you get sick.”

Once his stomach settled, Hamilton was able to fit in with Indian locals, and he had a blast finding out-of-the-way places to eat.

He says, “I didn’t feel like a tourist in India. I loved traveling and taking in the culture. It’s a beautiful country.”

Hamilton enjoyed India so much, that after filming wrapped he stuck around to explore some more.

Outsourced is available on DVD today (Sep. 2).
