Barry Bostwick Isn’t ‘Stupid Enough’ To Be President

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actor Barry Bostwick isn’t “stupid enough” to run for President of the United States.

Bostwick – known for his role as Mayor Winston on Spin City – plays the American president on Spike’s nuclear submarine action movie, Depth Charge, which premieres September 1.

Bostwick admits he’d never want to be president in real life, due to the stress of the high-profile job and its toll on the body.

He explains, “I don’t trust my abilities to order people around. The pressure and scheduling would be too much for me – I’m not stupid enough to want to be president! President Bush looks like he’s aged 40 years in an eight-year term.”

But Bostwick might be good as prez, since he has some experience in politics.

He’s played America’s founding president George Washington in a TV miniseries, and used to hand out campaign leaflets as a kid when his dad was running for congressman in San Mateo, California.
