Caroline Rhea Has ‘Liberating’ Trailer Trash Experience

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Comedienne Caroline Rhea is learning to love cut-off jean shorts and bright blue eyeshadow.

Rhea – best known for her role on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch – stars in Logo’s Sordid Lives: The Series, in which she plays a trailer trash neighbor with a tacky flare for fashion.

Her character, Noleta, is a Texas gal who always sports rollers in her hair, outdated clothes, and funky make-up.

However, Rhea finds her ridiculous get-up “liberating.”

She’s constantly trying to get the make-up department to throw more colors on her face and says, “It’s really liberating when you’re not even trying to look good for a role. I’m like, ‘Mix some green in with that blue eyeshadow and cake it on! Let’s do this!’”

Rhea is so into perfecting her character’s trashy style, she’s even started checking out garage sales for Noleta’s next hot outfit.

She laughs, “You gotta love those cut-off shorts!”

Sordid Lives: The Series premieres July 23 on Logo.
