Alfonso Ribeiro Is No Good At Trivia

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actor Alfonso Ribeiro needs to brush up on his pop culture trivia.

Ribeiro – best known as Will Smith’s cousin Carlton Banks on Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air – is the host of Catch 21, a new GSN game show that blends the classic card game 21 with trivia questions.

So far, Ribeiro has the card strategy of the game down, but not so much the pop trivia.

He’s admittedly not a “trivia guy” and gets stumped on a lot of the questions, except for the ones about his own TV shows like Fresh Prince.

To be the host with the most, Ribeiro has been playing the game non-stop, and even got help from friend and TV host Joey Fatone.

They went on a cruise together and Ribeiro played with Fatone, his wife, and their kid about “500 times.”

He’s excited to have his own game show because he grew up watching classics like Pyramid, Family Feud, and Hollywood Squares.

Catch 21 debuts next Monday (Jul. 21) on GSN.
