Rocketplane, a commercial space transportation company, offers couples the chance to have a cosmic wedding in outer space with their Space Wedding package.
The interstellar I Dos start at around $2.2 million and include a week of space training and a custom- designed wedding dress created to handle zero gravity atmosphere.
Rocketplane spokesperson Chuck Lauer says, Youre combining two once-in-a-lifetime experiences into one getting married and traveling to space.
The entire flight is 45 minutes long, and the spacey ceremony only lasts three minutes.
However, couples are warned that their romantic, rocketship nuptials may end in planetary puking.
Lauer explains, It can be a very high-sensation ride, so if youre susceptible to motion sickness, its probably not a good idea to do this. You also dont want to come into this hungover from a bachelor party the night before.
