After 14 years apart, the hair-metal kings best known for their hit Cherry Pie are reuniting for the Rocklahoma Festival (Jul. 10-13) in Pryor, Oklahoma, and a summer tour with Cinderella.
Guitarist Erik Turner says Warrants history of drinking and drug use wont ruin the rockin reunion, which is sure to be more mellow than their tours in the 80s.
Turner says, We used to chop up little white balls, now we go to the golf course and hit em around.
In addition to hitting the links instead of the bottle, all the band members are now married with children, which keeps them swinging on the straight and narrow.
Turner says, The tour will be a revolving door of kids and families. It makes you become a role model. Were all more mature, wiser, and hopefully well be cooler to each other.
