1970s Rockers Pablo Cruise Gear Up For A Comeback

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – California rockers Pablo Cruise are gearing up for a comeback thanks to some gear being worn by Will Ferrell.

In Ferrell’s upcoming comedy Step Brothers, the funnyman sports a classic Pablo Cruise jersey adorned with the band’s name, and their sun and palm tree logo.

Now, the 1970s rockers best known for their hits “Love Will Find A Way” and “Whatcha Gonna Do?,” are experiencing a resurgence of interest in their music and singer Cory Lerios is happy to go along with it.

Lerios hopes the band’s newfound film fame scores them points with a whole new generation of fans, including his own 21, 16, and 10-year-old kids.

With their popularity peaking, the band – which also includes original members David Jenkins and Steve Price – may add more shows to their schedule, which is already fairly active.

But Lerios plans to revive Pablo Cruise’s music, not necessarily their swingin’ 70s fashion.

He laughs, “We’ve abandoned the collars, sports coats, and long hair, so rest assured. Now we wear a lot of Hawaiian shirts and we work with the hair we have, which isn’t much these days!”
