Get A Free Flush For National Bathroom Reading Month

ASHLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – We’re right in the middle of National Bathroom Reading Month (Jun.), and one toilet titan is giving out free flushes to celebrate.

Gordon “Uncle John” Javna has been putting minds in the crapper with his Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader (Portable Press) book series for decades, and today (June 19), he’s rewarding restroom readers with a free 15-minute bathroom break at New York’s Madison Square Park.

Javna will be paying can customers’ 25-cent entry fee to use the city’s clean Automatic Public Toilets, and giving them a copy of the reader to peruse on the pot as a thank you for keeping the bathroom biz booming.

He says, “We have a responsibility to make people aware that there’s an alternative to reading the back of the shampoo bottle.”

According to Javna, reading on the potty has many benefits.

He explains, “It gives you some entertainment and makes you smarter. You leave the bathroom able to dazzle your friends with the knowledge you’ve acquired.”
