Toddlers Hit The Club

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Kiddies won’t have to wait until they’re 21 to hit the club.

Tiny tykes are boogying on the dancefloor with Baby Loves Disco, an event held at bars worldwide in which parents can hit the club with their little ones in tow.

The kiddie dance party provides a clean, safe nightclub and a DJ who spins disco jams from the 70s and 80s, with the bar serving up healthy snacks and alcohol for the adults.

There’s even a chill out lounge area with blocks and books for the babies.

Event creator Andy Blackman-Hurwitz says, “It’s basically like going to a nightclub except it’s baby- proofed. It’s a cool place to meet friends and have a cocktail with your kid. People still get in the club mode. Single parents have been known to hook up at an event.”

Though it’s all about the pint-sized partiers, Blackman- Hurwitz admits the disco is a reward for parents who’ve had enough Barney.

The next Baby Loves Disco hits Club Aubergine in San Diego on June 8.
