‘Iron Man’ Actor Reverts To Nine-Year-Old Self

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One rising star just knocked himself down a few notches in age.

Actor Faran Tahir stars in the new film Iron Man, in which he plays Iron Man’s evil nemesis, Raza.

Tahir – who was a big fan of the Iron Man Marvel Comic as a kid – says being on the set of the blockbuster film turned him into “a nine-year-old all over again.”

He says, “There were explosions and chase scenes – it was so cool! I was acting like a nine-year-old on the set every day!”

Although Tahir has always looked up to Iron Man, he didn’t have a problem playing the superhero’s nemesis, and was able to fight Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. without a hitch.

He says, “I had to put my love for Iron Man on pause. But the whole time I was thinking, ‘Ok, I’m fighting Iron Man. This is great!’ I felt like a kid again.”

Tahir was able to share his experience with his own nine-year- old son, who happens to have an action-packed cameo in the film.

Iron Man opens in theaters nationwide this Friday (May 2).
