‘Idol’ Eliminee Vows To Reject Reality TV

GLENDALE, Ariz. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – American Idol cast-off David Hernandez has had enough of reality TV and the paparazzi.

Hernandez – the controversial stripper-turned-Idol contestant – was voted off the show this past Wednesday (Mar. 12), and plans to relax when he gets back home to Glendale, Arizona, and steer clear of reality TV shows.

He says, “I’ve been on a reality show for about eight months now, so I’ve had enough of reality TV! I’m going to stay away from it for a while. I’ll probably just lay on my mom’s couch with her cats, watch some Friends reruns, and eat pork-flavored Ramen noodles.”

Hernandez – who’s been the buzz of the Internet since his pole-dancing past was recently leaked – is also excited about living his life without the pesky paparazzi around.

He explains, “You go from being anonymous to being famous overnight because of Idol, and it’s really strange. Yesterday I had to take security with me to the store! I just want to take a deep breath away from the paparazzi.”

Hernandez wants to shop for a record deal very soon and release his debut album within the next year.

American Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FOX.
