Circumcision Cuts Men Deep

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A San Diego man is doing his best to get boys off the chopping block.

Matthew Hess is leading the fight against male circumcision, and has just sent his “Male Genital Mutilation Bill” to Congress in hopes that lawmakers will make it illegal for parents to consent a circumcision on a child.

Hess explains, “We want to give the men the choice of whether or not they want to change their genitalia at age 18. There’s a law that protects females from gender mutilation, but boys are not included in that law, and they should be.”

Hess says many men suffer from sexual dysfunction, callus build-up, desensitization, and emotional and psychological issues as a result of circumcision.

And the theory that a circumcised penis is more hygienic has little merit with Hess because, as he says, “You wash your hair and put on deodorant. Why can’t you spend a little more time in the shower to clean under your foreskin?”
