Wendy Wilson Calls For Backup From The ‘Supernanny’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – To “Hold On” to her family, singer Wendy Wilson got some help from a professional Supernanny.

Wilson – of 90s girl group Wilson Phillips, known for hit songs like “Hold On,” and “You’re In Love” – stars on ABC’s first ever celebrity episode of Supernanny tonight (Feb. 20), and says getting help from nanny Jo Frost helped get her family back on track.

Wilson has four sons – two toddlers and a set of newborn twins – with her husband Dan Knutson, and knew she needed help once her boys started acting extremely “aggressive and rambunctious.”

For Wilson, the hardest part of parenting has been learning to divide her time equally among her kids, organizing bedtime routines for them, and getting enough sleep herself.

And Supernanny Jo Frost could see that Wilson was exhausted.

Frost says, “Wendy and Dan needed some good sleep and a day-to-day routine for their boys. Their family wasn’t nearly as out of control as other families I’ve dealt with. They were just tired and needed to get some normalcy back.”

Wilson explains, “Jo brought the rules down to our kids’ level and made it fun for them. She taught us how to speak to them, and taught my husband and I to communicate and respect each other’s parenting styles.”
