‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Tries To Take Home ‘Sassiness’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When the cameras stop rolling, Grey’s Anatomy star Chandra Wilson isn’t as sassy as she’d like to be.

Wilson – who plays tough, outspoken resident surgeon Dr. Miranda Bailey, nicknamed “The Nazi,” on Grey’s Anatomy – says Dr. Bailey’s sassy ways begin when the cameras start rolling, end when shooting wraps, and don’t follow Wilson home after work.

Wilson says she’s not nearly as bossy or demanding to her co-stars when she’s not in character, but wouldn’t mind copping a little bit of Dr. Bailey’s attitude in her real life once in a while.

She explains, “I can only turn on my Dr. Bailey when someone turns on the camera. Otherwise, she just disappears, and I just can’t do it; I’m no longer sassy. I try to bottle it up and take some of Dr. Bailey home, but it just doesn’t work!”
