Gotta Go Mom, You’re Talking My Ear Off

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One website is helping people drop their annoying calls. features an index of specialty sound bytes designed to get you out of a phone jam, which include background noises like sirens and alarms that emulate busy locations like airports and baseball games.

Creator David Schmucker says the audio clips are for “anybody who’s ever wanted to just get off the phone,” and even overly chatty moms aren’t safe from getting the “Sorry, gotta go.”

He says, “I’ve had people say they use it to cut off their moms, and not one has said they felt bad doing it.”

But Schmucker says people need to keep their stories straight when using the call-ending clips.

He says, “You have to be a little bit careful with certain sounds. You shouldn’t use the crying baby clip with someone you know or else they could catch you, and say, ‘But you don’t have a baby.’”
