At least thats according to sexy supermodel Niki Taylor, whos been working in the modeling industry for more than 18 years, and says the biggest change shes seen in the beauty biz is the star-studded influx of celebrity models.
Taylor says celebrity endorsements have become big business for the commercial modeling industry, and as public interest in celebrities grows, there are more Hollywood stars modeling in magazines and luxury ads than models.
Taylor says, Before, models used to be the main cover girls!
And despite stars like Uma Thurman and soccer stud David Beckham posing in ad campaigns for huge designers like Louis Vuitton and Armani, Taylor believes models will make a comeback and beat out celebs for those coveted photo shoots soon.
She explains, Its a cycle. Celebrities are in one minute and out the next. We [models] are waiting for our turn again!
Taylor continues to conquer the modeling world when she hosts the new reality series Make Me A Supermodel alongside male model Tyson Beckford, premiering tonight (Jan. 10) on Bravo.
