Paranormal Happenings Scarce On The Set Of ‘Medium’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Paranormal events are a staple of the NBC drama Medium, but once the cameras stop rolling, series star Patricia Arquette says it’s back to ghost-free reality.

Arquette – who plays the psychically inclined Allison DuBois in Medium – says she’s never experienced a ghostly occurrence on the set of the show, despite the spooky storylines she works with.

And her on-screen husband, actor Jake Weber agrees – for the most part.

Weber says, “We’ve never really had anything paranormal happen after hours. But, I don’t know, there’s some weird st going on at the craft service table!”

Arquette jokes, “Yeah, there are donuts mysteriously flying around at the catering table!”

And while nothing psychic or ghostly has happened to Arquette during her run on Medium, the Emmy-winning actress did have a curiously accurate paranormal experience as a teenager.

She explains, “When I was young I got my palm read by this man at McDonald’s. He kept screaming, ‘You’ll be an actress one day, you’ll be a star! Go down the street and audition!’ That was an interesting experience, but I still took it with a grain of salt.”

The fourth season of Medium premieres tonight (Jan. 7) on NBC.
