‘High School Musical’ Actor Gets Personalized Fan Gift

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – High School Musical actor Corbin Bleu has gotten some very thoughtful gifts from his fans – and some strange ones too.

Bleu – best known for his role as Chad Danforth on Disney Channel’s High School Musical films – loves his supportive fans and all of the “amazing little gifts” they give him, especially when they come from the heart.

When Bleu was touring Latin America with his HSM castmates late last year, a six-year-old fan in Venezuela gave him a very special homemade gift.

Bleu explains, “This little boy gave me a necklace that had a cross and my initials engraved on it. It was so cute. The best gifts I get from fans are when they actually make me something, like jewelry.”

Other times, Bleu has received some pretty weird gifts from admirers.

He says, “I’ve gotten people’s teddy bears, and I’ve even gotten someone’s pillows before. Those are always interesting ones. But luckily, I’ve never gotten anything too creepy – like hair or something!”

Bleu hopes to continue building his fanbase, and with two High School Musical films under his belt and a third on the way, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Bleu adds, “I’m just glad people like what I do!”
